1. Legalities.

Since January 2015, we are pleased to be able offer same sex marriages at the UK's most popular wedding destination Gretna Green and throughout Scotland.

The legalities and fees for a same sex marriage are the same as for any wedding and can be read in our step by step guide. There are a couple of exceptions, which are detailed below.

You both fill out separate marriage notice (M10) forms, which you can download them here.

2. Points to Consider

The ceremony is performed by a registrar at any of the available venues.

We can also arrange a Minister to perform a blessing.

3. Available Venues.

One of the venues doesn't have a civil licence so is unavailable for a same sex weddings:
